Stay on schedule with the GE-branded Power-Saving Strip Timer. The easy-to-use timer features a 3ft. power cord and is perfect for lamps, seasonal lighting, small appliances and more. For increased versatility, it is compatible with LED, CFL and incandescent bulbs. Whether you're away for a few hours or several weeks, the timer quickly deters crime by giving your home a lived-in appearance. A seven-day cycle allows varied schedules throughout the week. Four timed and four always-on outlets provide eight grounded powering options featuring twist-to-lock safety covers. When turned off, the simultaneously controlled timed outlets eliminate "standby" or "vampire" power. This reduces electricity costs by preventing electronics from drawing power when not in use. Up to seven personalized ON/OFF settings can be programmed any day or days of the week to accommodate any schedule. The digital display is easy to read and the included LR44 battery backup stores programs during power outages. Control the power of time with the GE-branded Power-Saving Strip Timer.

Hi Jamie, thank you for your question. No, the timer can only go by minutes and not seconds. However, you can turn 4 devices off, and they back on 1 minute later with this device. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to respond or contact our Customer Support through phone or email. Thank you, Jasco Products Tech Support.
Recommend using something else.
Yes they would work for you but you would have to turn the computers on for one minute at a time they only control in minute increments. And there are different timers so you very well can control it to turn on and off for one minute every 6 hours every day of the week or just one day of the week or two days of the week whatever you prefer. For the record I do not work for the company have any connection to the product I own three of these and have been using them for a few years and I'm just giving you my opinion and as a consumer I recommend this product.
You have one side of manual outlets and one side of timer outlets with 7 different programs. So whatever is programmed has to be plugged in
No
No. They are all the same. You can have multiple settings foe each day.
Hi garden1, thank you for reaching out to us with your question. No, the timer will program all the timer outlets at the same time. If you have any further questions regarding the product, please don't hesitate to respond or contact our Customer Support through phone or email. Thank you, Jasco Products Tech Support (Manufacturer).
Yes, you can start & stop the left side 4 outlets on the hour & minute that you choose.
Hello TheDude, Great question and Thank you for your interest in our 7-Day 8-Outlet Power Strip Timer. The functionality of this timer allows you to set up to 7 program settings, and you are able to program it for 15 minute intervals, but not all day long. We recommend timer 15102. The 15102 would allow you to program 15 minute intervals all day long. If you have any further questions, we encourage you to respond or contact our Customer Support through phone or email. Thank you, ByJasco Tech Support (Manufacturer)
RDM is for random settings as programmed.
RDM setting is a good idea if someone is watching your house & noticing that your lights are coming on & off at the exact same time everyday. The RDM setting will make the lights come on & off within a few minutes of your settings + or - a few minutes at slightly at different times everyday.
Hello Jay, and thank you for your question. The random feature is a security option that will turn lights on and off using the programmed times + or – 30 minutes, giving the house a more lived in appearance while you are away. To set 4 timed outlets to “RANDOM” (RDM) simply press the “MODE” button until the RDM indicator is displayed. The timer will operate randomly as programmed. If you have any further questions, please feel free to respond or contact us through phone or email. Thank you, Jasco Products Tech Support (Manufacturer)
If it looses settings when the unit is unplugged or during a power outage, the little button battery must be dead. Replace the button battery.
Chucky, Unfortunately it sounds like the battery might be running down and causing the timer to lose the settings. Jasco Products Tech Suport(Manufacturer) phone number: 1-800-654-8483 option 1
The 4 outlets on the left are controlled by the timer. The 4 outlets on the right are always on independent of the timer.
Chucky, If you use the four outlets under the day clock buttons then the display on the timer has to read on. If it shows off and you are using these outlets then there won’t be any power going to them. If you are using the outlets on the right under the min program buttons then these should work anytime the power strip timer is plugged into a working outlet. If the you are using the outlets on the right side and the lights don’t work then you would need to replace the timer. Jasco Products Tech Suport(Manufacturer) phone number: 1-800-654-8483 option 1
If you are referring to the programmable ones you need to wait for the on setting to pass and set to auto.
Actually, four of the outlets are on a timer, while four are not. I have the same trouble, and I plan to return mine.
