About This Product
The SharkBite Connection System offers an extensive line of barb fittings plus manifolds, supports and tools for both clamp and crimp ring PEX tubing installations. When a water distribution project requires low cost materials, a system that utilizes PEX tubing, barb fittings and manifolds is a good choice. In addition to being cost effective, these systems simplify the installation compared to copper or rigid plastic pipe systems that use solder or glue for fitting joints. The SharkBite PEX/Barb System includes everything needed, from pressure regulators and valves with barb connectors, to chrome plated stops for hooking up fixtures.

Hello - can you tell me why this is open on both ends? I thought you need 3/4" in, with 1/2" outlets but don't understand why there is another 3/4" outlet. Is this just for another device that may need it, like a water heater?

The outports on top are 1/2 inch but the in and out on the left and right are they both 3/4?

It?s says compatible with Pex A, also states crimp or clamp required, does Pex A still use the expansion and collar setup up? Or are you suppose to use the expansion with a crimp or clamp instead?
Hi, The SharkBite 3/4 in. PEX Barb x 1/2 in. Barb Copper 4-Port Closed Manifold can be used with the following pipes PEX-A, PEX-B, PEX-C or PERT pipe. When connecting the pipes to the manifold you have to use Crimp Ring or Stainless Steel PEX Clamp Ring. These different rings require a tool to install them. Hello, can this manifold be used to connect 3 shower body jets instead of having to create a pressure balancing loop? Input will be 1/2" Pex, so will have to use a 1/2" to 3/4" adapter, to match the manifold.... Will I get equal pressure distribution?

What is the diameter of the main header, it looks larger than the 3/4 barb, is it 1 inch?
The inlet is 3/4 inches.

Is there mounting hardware available for this manifold?

how do I cap the ends of the outlets that I'm not using?
You would have to install a small piece of PEX pipe onto the outlet with either our stainless steel clamp and tool or our copper crimp ring and tool. Hello William, Just is a piece of the PEX tubing with and end plug. They are cheap, like $3.50 for a pack of 5. Hope this helps.
