It is safe around indoor pets

What chemicals are in this product?
Thank you for your inquiry. The Harris Spider Killer contains Deltamethrin as the active ingredient. This will leave a residual kill after the spray has dried. The residual of the dried spray will collect on the spiders bodies and slowly penetrate to kill them. This residual will continue for approximately 10 days. The Spider Trap not does contain a killing chemical. It is a glue trap. Thank you.

Is this product safe on carpets? I see spiders along my base boards where the painted wood meets the carpet.
Yes. This is a water based product. The active ingredient is Deltamethrin. It will continue to kill after the spray dries for 7 to 10 days. When insects as well as spiders travel over the area sprayed the active ingredient will collect on their bodies and they will die afterward. Thank you .

I have a lot of spiders in the house i just bought near feuit trees. Is this plant safe?
Thank you for contacting P.F. Harris. This product is designed to use indoors and outdoors. It may be sprayed on indoor and outdoor plants excluding "edible crops". You would not want to spray this on food producing plants. If the trees you refer to are strictly ornamental you may certainly use it. Thank you.
My better half uses the spray on all our indoor plants with no ill effects. For fruit, I would wash as you normally would before eating.
Is this spray limited to the types of spiders it will kill?

There is quite a number of spiders listed you would have to know the species you want killed then check the list on the bottle. No I don't think so.
Doesn't deem to be limited. We use it inside for those tiny little ones that you never see, only their webs on the walls and outside under the eaves for those big banana spiders, even though they do eat mosquitoes.
I bought this because it claims to kill brown recluse spiders which raid cannot kill
