Will the GE 1.1 cf microwave PEM31SFSS work as a built in replacement for JEM31SA

Is the GE Profile 1.1 cu. ft. comparable to the GE Profile Model #PEM31SM3SS?
Yes, this model is very similar to your prior Spacemaker model in both size and features. They are both compatible with the same JXA019K Undercabinet Hanging Kit (Optional). However, this model PEM31SFSS is not compatible with the prior optional built-in kit. When you undermount this microwave, the bottom panel trim and feet are VERY visible and it looks bad. The promotional images don't show ANY of that. Can that whole piece be removed? Or is this just false advertising?
The bottom of the unit is not removeable. Physically altering your appliance in any way would void the warranty. At certain angles, the bottom of the unit may become visible when used with a hanging kit.
We are replacing the PEM31SM4SS . Are the mounting holes on top the same size and dimensions as the PEM31SMFSS? ...or will we have to drill new holes
We're not sure because the installation requirements are specific to each unit. We recommend that you follow the Installation Instructions as they're written to ensure proper installation.

Replacing JEM31SA002. Will it fit?
This dimensions for the PEM31SFSS are: 11 3/4 H x 24 W x 12 7/8 D.
