This item can be used anywhere that has a Shower Head.
Yes, but only if you have the upper shower head. I'm sure you do and I'm just not understanding the question. All shower heads are a common pipe size do that's not a problem. It even comes with a small amount of teflon pipe thread sealant tape. Remember to wrap it around the pipe clockwise looking up into the pipe and don't think you have to use it all, three wraps around the pipe is quite enough.

The light stopped working after about 6 months of use. What mightn’t have happened?
If you are in a hard water area, it may have clogged the spin wheel that spins via water pressure to make power for the light. Either remove and clean with a solution of vinegar and water or return if under warranty.

After your shower water stays in the bottom of the shower head. How do you get the standing water to come out of the shower head?
The water don’t stay in the bottom of the shower head because shower head is facing down and gravity will cause the remaining water to fall and empty the bottom of the shower head.
Turn your head so corner points down and that should elevate water by allowing a flow out.
There always water left in there. It’s very hard to get every bit of it out..
I dont, wait till I turn shower on next time I use it
