Why are they designed to only be inward facing? I don't have enough space on my deck for the 9"+ of projection into the space. Is it possible to mount them outward facing?

Hello, This is possible with the railing kit. All you would do is take the planter bracket portion of the railing bracket set and affix that to the wall you want to hang them from. After those are on the wall you can snap the planter into place. Thanks, Veradek Support

Why is there no drainage hole in middle compartment?

Can these be hung backward so that the silver tag is not showing?

I have a wrought iron railing that is 1" wide. Will this mount on that small of a railing?

Bracket - Our bracket can expand to accommodate railings as wide as 6 inches and is more than strong enough to support the weight of the planter.
Drainage - additional drainage holes can definitely be drilled if necessary for areas with higher levels of precipitation.
Name plate - this can easily be removed with a screwdriver or utility knife and does not leave any markings behind.
