Hi there! Thanks so much for your question. It’s normal for a rug to have creases or wrinkles after being folded for shipping. To help it lay flat, try rolling it in the opposite direction of the folds and securing it for a few hours. You can also place heavy objects, like books or furniture, on the creased areas to weigh them down. Hanging the rug over a railing or banister can let gravity help smooth it out. Using a rug pad underneath will not only reduce creases but also add cushioning and prevent slipping. Sometimes, all it takes is a little time and regular foot traffic for the rug to settle naturally.
