Can you put loose tea in the pot or do you have to use the infuser.
It's generally not recommended to put loose tea leaves directly into an electric tea kettle, as this can lead to clogging or damage to the kettle's heating element. The best method is to use a separate tea infuser or you may use a tea strainer to steep the loose tea leaves in hot water. This will allow you to easily remove the tea leaves after steeping, without risking damage to your kettle. If the water is not constantly moving the tea leaves would stick to the bottom of the kettle which makes the clean-up process more time consuming.
