The Commercial Electric CER61093AK50WK4 4-pack of Integrated LED white Recessed Lights is the perfect solution for residential and light commercial applications. The kit includes everything needed to install four 6 in. recessed LED downlights for new construction, remodel, and retrofit installation. The mounting frame has full size J-box with six 1/2 in. and one 3/4 in. knock-outs. The 18 in. flexible metal pigtail coming out of the frame's J-box has plug-in quick connectors and a push-in cable clamp for easy wiring to the downlight. The adjustable hanger bars with automatic levelling flanges align to bottom of joist and lets you hold the frame in place with one hand while driving nails; and with captive nails penetrates standard and engineered wood joist. They have bendable flange securing the mounting frame onto T-bars - no additional clips required. Mounting frame can be positioned at any point within 12 in. to 24 in. joist span and may be repositioned 90°. This canless downlight produces 1,000 lumens of light with 5 (CCT) selections: warm 2700K, soft 3000K, neutral 3500K, bright 4000K, and daylight 5000K. It is ETL certified for installation in damp or wet indoor and outdoor areas and is listed by Energy Star and compliant with California Title 24 for rebates that may be available in the area.Backed by a 5-year limited manufacturer's warranty and a 50,000-hour expected lifespan, CER61093AK50WK4 is a rock-solid option for new construction or remodel applications.

I am asking the same question, and I am an EC in California. Why do you have a ground pigtail in your fixture connection box and you supply the MC cable without a ground wire and only the two-wire (black and white #18 awg ) . Manufacturer should answer.
Thanks for your question. The grounding path for this fixture is achieved through the metal spring retainers making contact with the new construction mounting frame, which provides earth continuity. This design has been tested and certified to meet ETL safety standards by an accredited laboratory. - BH
Where should the ground from the downlight connect to? Do i have to run a pigtail from the Jbox?
