A:  Hi harry drill 1/2" holes on bottom like about 12 6" apart also a couple along the outside bottom edge..for drainage

A:  Not really, if you keep it full of water the wood will swell and keep most of the water in, however they recommend that you drill a small hole in the bottom to allow water to escape and not become stale. If you don't keep it wet, the wood will shrink and definitely let the water out.

A:  Yes,I've had other from a prior purchase, they've weathered watering and mother nature elements for for years!

A:  Unfortunately it does not. The Oak Barrels are a genuine used Whiskey or Wine Barrel, and typical size is 52 or 59 total gallons (before being cut in half). Anything smaller than that would be a specialty size, and would have to be custom made.

A:  not in the legit whiskey barrel format

A:  Lay them on the side and tap using a rubber mallet lightly ...should work fine

A:  In order to separate them you simply roll them on their side for a few turns....they will come apart.

A:  Not sure what you mean. You could use it to hold the post for your mailbox, but not as the mailbox itself.

A:  We have had our's outside for 2-years now and it is starting to show some signs of aging, a few of the boards are starting to separate. Still very functional and will probably last at least 2 more years. Take a look at the photos and decide for yourself.

A:  Had this barrel when I lived in Va. Looked great after 15 years..had a lot more years left to look just as good

A:  I was truly disappointed when I picked mine up , they do not look at all like the one in the picture and I payed $90.00 for 2 and also spend a lot of money at Home Depot . I’m considering shopping elsewhere.......

A:  This is a “wanna be” wine barrel. It isn’t very sturdy. If you’re expecting a half cut wine/whiskey barrel, keep looking. This is not it.

A:  They are half cut authentic jd barrels...the distillery atatches a label on the outside of each barrel

A:  Yes, this is a real whiskey barrel, the heavy, real oak.

A:  I bought this for a Patio Peach Tree. It is a nice size and it is a real Whiskey Barrel. I drilled drainage holes underneath and the drilled wood smelled like a distillery. You will need a sharp drill bit to drill the holes. It is hardwood.

A:  These barrels are genuine jack daniel ...there is a label stapled on each barrel for authenticity
