A:  Thank you for your interest in Advaning awnings. All Advaning retractable awnings can be mounted at the height of 8~10 feet. The mounting height for MA1210-A118NG awnings will be best determined based on the following factors. (1). User's height: The mounting height should allow the user to operate a hand crank easily and comfortably (63 inches length), and allow a sufficient height at the front bar when the awning is fully open. (2). The Awning pitch: The factory default pitch is 15-degree. The awning pitch can be raised or lowered from 5~45 degree which will increase or reduce the front bar height when the awning is fully open. It is recommended to keep the pitch at factory default 15-degree, so the awning can be properly retracted back into the cassette. A:  The item is water resistant.

A:  Thank you for your interest in Advaning awnings. Advaning SG Series awnings are designed to provide shade from the sun. Advaning's breathable acrylic canopy materials are water resistant. The fabric itself repels water and snow, but it is not water proof. Advaning acrylic fabric allows hot air and moisture escape. Water and even various oils can be cleaned away with relative ease. However, its porous nature does not allow it to be impervious to water penetration. Waterproof fabrics such as vinyl or polyester are waterproof. They effectively block water from penetrating the material from either above or below. Although Waterproof can be a good feature, Advaning chose a water resistant “breathable” solution in order to provide a cooler, more comfortable outdoor product. Hot air and humidity is not trapped under the awning with you. It releases through the fabric back into the atmosphere and away from your airspace. You may adjust the front bar pitch (slope) up to 5-degree or lower to 45-degree by using the Easy Pitch loops. A:  Thank you for contacting Advaning Awnings. The wall mounting brackets are included with the awning. The wall mounting brackets can be installed to the main structural supports behind the concrete, brick and stucco surface. For vinyl sidings mounting, you might need to add a spacer to ensure the even surface for bracket mounting. Please contact a local professional installer for proper installation. We recommend to mount Advaning awnings around 8~10 feet height from ground to allow sufficient height at the front bar when the awning is fully extended. The awning can be mounted at the height less than 8~10 feet, but please note that it will reduce the height at the front bar when fully extended.
