A: It has a cord attached going down through the base and out. It’s about 5 feet long from the base, would likely need extension cord to get it to a safe outdoor outlet. It’s 3 prong.

Q:How many watts does the pump use?
Has anyone noticed approximately how much it costs to run it 9 or 10 hours a day? Or is it so small a cost that you didn't notice it on your electricity bill? thank you.
I bought one of these and LOVE it.

Q:How does the water work. Do you have to fill it up each day or can you run a water line to it?

Answer This Question
A: You have to fill it. IT will run several days before you need to add water. When it is really hot, it needs to be filled more often. Or if the birds splash it out, which is really fun to watch.

A: We top off the water every couple days and flush the basins out every other week. There is no provision for maintaining a water lever in the fountain, purely manual.

A: Does not need to connect to a hose. Pour a gallon jug or so of water into it when you set up and then add water daily or as needed.
