Questions and Answers for Aspect Collage 11.75 in. x 6 in. Metal and Composite Peel and Stick Backsplash in Marble Shine (2-Pack)

A:  Thank you for your interet in our products! A chop saw (motorized miter saw) is recommended for straight cuts. A jig saw or scroll saw is recommended for non-straight cuts. For circular cuts, a hole saw works well. See Aspect Tile Installation Guide for additional information. All cutting blades should be carbide-tipped or high-speed steel, and made for cutting nonferrous metal. When cutting is complete, use a fine-grit sandpaper or a small metal file to debur the cut edges. Take the cut tile to the work space and place it in its intended location and make sure it fits properly. A utility knife with a sharp blade can also be used for straight cuts on some of our tiles. Measure and mark the tile where the cut must be made with a marker on the protective film. Using a straight edge, score along the entire tile using a utility knife. Carefully make a few passes with a bit more pressure each pass. Bend back and forth until tile separates. If you have additional questions please feel free to reach out to us at 800.434.3750. A:  Two panels together make almost a foot square of coverage (12 inches by 11.75 inches) They recommend getting 10% overage for matching edges. If the wall surface is a little rough, I recommend adding some glue to the tiles when installing them. We had several come off, and then had to add glue to get them to stick (our wall was quite rough).

A:  Yes as long as it is clean and not too chalky a finish. I used it in a kitchen and used some extra glue due to the heat around the stove and the sink.

A:  Yes. It sticks directly onto the drywall.

They hold best to a freshly primed surface (stand-alone primer recommended). If you prefer not to prime, you can use additional adhesive in the form of PL Premium by Loctite to secure your panels as well. A:  Thank you for your interest in our products! Our tiles can be exposed to splashes of moisture in areas behind sinks without issue. They are made of a composite material, so should not rust or tarnish over time. However, we do not recommend they be installed in a completely wet area, such as a shower, as the constant and direct water contact could affect the adhesive over time. A:  Yes, there shoukld be no problem sticking to a glass mirror. We added extra glue to make sure it stuck to painted sheet-rock. We weren't careful and found it stuck very well to the top of itself.

Our Aspect peel and stick Tiles are class A fire rated and can withstand up to 140 degrees as long as they are kept 6" away from a direct heat source, such as a burner. A:  I'm not sure. I used it around my fireplace, and it's been durable there. It is designed as a kitchen backsplash, so I would think it would be water resistant - especially if you installed it well and maybe sealed it? I would ask them at the store.

A:  Did u make sure your surface was clean and did u peel the back tape off correctly you may have peeled the black foam part off that could be why!
