    Q:Fully charged, only lasts 1/2 hour of use. This seems like a short time to me. It's been taking a couple of hours to charge, or more. Came new with a cultivator. Could it be a faulty battery? I've only been using it two days.

      A:  The 3-in-1 Compact Mower Removable Deck is not operated by a battery. The MTD100 is compatible with NST2118, LST220, LST300, LST400, providing many options to convert from trimmer/edger to mower. The LST220, LST300 and LST400 is compatible with the BLACK+DECKER 20V battery line-up. The NST2118 is compatible with the BLACK+DECKER 18V battery line-up.

        A:  The MTD100 is a 3-on-1 Compact Mower Removable Deck is Compatible with NST2118, LST220, LST300, LST400, providing many options to convert from trimmer/edger to mower. These are all compatible with BLACK+DECKER 20V max batteries. Such as LBXR20-OPE 1.5AH, LBXR20B 1.3AH, LBXR2020APB 2.0AH and LB2X4020 4.0AH.

          A:  No, the LBXR20-OPE battery is only compatible with the BLACK+DECKER 20V tools.It is not compatible with the 18V tools.

              Q:What is the date code on these batteries? What is the shelf life after the date code? How long after this code are the batteries guaranteed to work?

              A:  Date code is the number that starts with "20XX XX-XX" located on the top of the battery. Batteries can hold charges up to 500 days (it could be less or more depending of use).

                    A:  Charging time may vary depending upon factors including but not limited to, storage, environmental conditions, age, etc. Because of these factors, we are unable to provide a specific charging time. However, the charging in progress is indicated by the green LED flashing. The completion of charge is indicated by the green LED remaining on continuously.

                        A:  No, this LBXR20-OPE battery only works with 20V tools; HPB18 tools are 18V. And no, HPB18 charger doesn't work with this 20V battery; HPB18 charger only works with 18V batteries.
