A:  Description says 1/2 inch thick. I think it feels heavier/thicker, as much as 2/3 an inch thick.

A:  I haven't measured it but I would say about 1/2 inch thick.

A:  Yes, these are suitable for outdoor cold weather use. I think direct sunlight will break them down faster than being frozen.

A:  I would think so, just keep it dry as I assume freezing water/snow would cause it to crack.

A:  I have had one of these next to my deck so that nobody tracks mud on the deck. Its been there 2 years and looks as good as the day I put it down there.
