A:  Craig, If you trim down the door section it will void the warranty. You can order a 15'.6" x7' door which would be 187.2 inches. This would allow you to install the door. A:  Charlie, Short Panel is a design element of the door. It is what gives the door a Raised Panel appearance. On a 16'x7' door there are 8 "short panels" stamped into the door.
