A: Hi DoorsSealed, this model door has foamed in place (polyurethane) insulation between the steel skins and the end caps applied to cover the ends. The end caps are not "sealed" but due to the insulation used there is nowhere for any water to go. Thanks for shopping the Home Depot, the Clopay team

Q:Can I trim the door to fit into a 185 1/2" wide opening
by|Jan 3, 2024
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Craig,
If you trim down the door section it will void the warranty. You can order a 15'.6" x7' door which would be 187.2 inches. This would allow you to install the door. Make sure you have plenty side room of 6 1/2" from the opening on the side to the wall. Thank you for shopping The Home Depot, the Clopay team.

Q:what does short panel mean
by|Nov 27, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Charlie, Short Panel is a design element of the door. It is what gives the door a Raised Panel appearance. On a 16'x7' door there are 8 "short panels" stamped into the door. On a Long Panel door of this size, there would be 4 "long panels" stamped into the door.
