A:  This reciprocating saw is indeed USA made with parts sourced internationally. Sorry for the delay.

          by|Apr 29, 2019

A:  I am upset,I just bought it with the impression that it is made in U.S.A. On you tube it has a made in USA sticker on it,but mine did not.I looked at the saw and it says MADE IN MEXICO!!!! It does not even say Mexico on the manual pictures,it says USA. All of our companies have sold us out!! Shame on them.

A:  No. it only accepts very fine blades

              by|Apr 10, 2019

A:  Doubtful. It is set up for quick blade changes and has 2 blade slots, one vertical for typical recip saw use, and one horizontal for the 'flush cut' feature mentioned in the description. So unless you can find one that fits into a standard blade slot, I'd say "no".

                by|May 6, 2020

A:  No i’m Sorry you can not attached any other tools except a blade.

                  by|Feb 15, 2019

A:  It accepts anything designed to be used in a reciprocating saw. I've seen scraper attachments, never seen a chisel, that would be more for a demo hammer.

A:  I am not sure what your grain bin is made of. I have used mine to cut through metal, wood, plastic, trees, roots, etc. There are different blades for different purposes. I have found that metal blades are eaten up the fastest. If your bin is metal and you have a lot of cuts, another cutting tool might work better (cut off wheels).

A:  It will if you have the correct blades. It has enough power to complete almost any sawing job.

A:  Hello Dan, Thank you for your question. Yes a reciprocating saw would work great for that job. The only thing you need to make sure is that you have the correct blade installed for the materials that you are cutting. ie.. metal cutting blade for metal or wood cutting blade for wood. If you don't have the correct blade installed you are going to get pretty frustrated and ruin your blades.

A:  Assuming you mean the large sheet metal containers you would find on a farm, yes, but because it's so large it may take a while. What would probably take a lot less time would be to put a metal cutting blade on a circular saw.

A:  It would work great for that! Just buy a long wood blade. This thing is powerful, and not too heavy.

A:  Yes, it will work well. I used it for cutting several tree limbs and with the correct blade it made quick work of them. Should have no problem with pine.

A:  Yes, use a tree blade. I have used mine for that many times. Weight is hard to judge, you need to go to the store and pick it up. Too light can also mean cheaply made and not durable enough to withstand drops to the ground. this unit doesn't strike me as being overly heavy, but it certainly is heavy duty.

A:  Yes, Yes, Yes. The best tool I have ever bought. Use it all the time on everything. It's so hard to cut somethings without it. The blade will deturmand the use.

A:  It's powerful enough it'll handle pine branches no problem. I usually use my cordless one for tree branches though, extensions cords tend to get caught up in branches. It's just over 9 pounds, so it isn't heavy but it does have some weight to it.

Use a metal blade. The time the blade lasts will depend more on the blade quality than the reciprocating saw. I like the diablo brand home depot sells. I made 25 cuts through lag bolts with one blade. I let it cool between and used cutting oil on the teeth between each cut.
