Hello GM! In order to get a fully-rounded (or bullnose) edge on ¾” thick material, you should consider our 3/8 in. Radius Rounding Over Router. To check it out, just search homedepot.com for Product #DR34-114. Whichever bit you use, be sure to use a router table fence or edge guide for the second cut.

What routers are compatible w/this bit? I purchased this bit for my Makita RT0701C 1-1/4 HP Compact Router and it's too large to fit through the fixed base. From what I can find online, most people make their own bases out fo wood to overcome this, but is there a highly recommended router that will fit this 1 1/2" diameter bit out of the box (no matter the base installed?
