I'm planning on pouring epoxy on my laminate countertops and the company recommends rounding off the edges to allow the epoxy to flow over the edges easier. Can I cut right through the laminate with this?

It could if you wanna pay too much money for a router bit.

Yes you can. Make sure the router is set to the correct speed and go at a consistent speed to prevent tear out or buring.

Depends upon what type of laminate your countertops are made of. Since it is a carbide bit it probably will work on most types.

Hi Ozzy! The DR34128 can be used in a handheld router as long as the throat of the router base is large enough to accommodate the bit’s 2” diameter. Since this bit removes a large amount of material, always be sure to use multiple passes to reach the full profile.

Hello Ozzy, Thank you for your question. You can use this bit in a hand help router. You want to make sure that it will take a 1/2" shank and have a large enough motor to handle this bit. You might also want/need to make a couple passes to get a nice smooth corner.
