A: I don't know. I only used it on wood but its very sharp and I would think if you secured your PVC and drilled slow, it might work ok.

A: If you are using a drill press it is the depth of your shank usually about 3-4 inches unless you have an industrial press. You can use a paddle bit or a longer drill bit using a hand held drill

A: The topmost part of the shift is 1 inch. This is the part that goes into the chuck. The total length of the shaft is 3 inches to the back of the head. Overall bit length is 3 1/2 inches.

A: Hi, Raspberryrain - The Diablo FB-007 can be used in any drill that will accept a 3/8” Shank. Unfortunately, Diablo Forstner Bits cannot be used in Impact Drivers as they are not designed for Impact ready tools. We do recommend that they be used on “Fixed” Drills or Drill Presses for best results.
