Q:What is the measurement between the top of the railing and where the brackets attach to the upright supports? We have a filagree railing so am not sure this would work. Thanks!

A: CaroDovo, After talking with the manufacturing facility, it was agreed that the brackets will not adjust small enough to be tight for use with a filigree railing. Very sorry that this product will not work for your outdoor area.

Answer This Question
A: Hi Ml, We have some details that should help you install a table on the hardware kit. It is information that can be found in the boxed-off Info & Guides section of the product page - essentially, the online questions: It appears as follows: The table frame was designed to install with (3) 5-1/2 in. deck boards or 1x6 boards. Other materials may be used as desired. We recommend using materials that would be suitable for use as an exterior table. The hardware can support a table
up to 60 in. long...Maximum weight capacity is 50 pounds uniformly distributed. Do not exceed. Table is designed to attach to a guardrail that meets the structural requirements of the International Residential Code. Do not use if the guardrail does not meet the International Residential Code or if the guardrail is otherwise unsafe or dilapidated. While it is designed to work with many common railing styles, do not use or force to fit a non-compatible railing. Best of luck with this table project.

Q:Is this kit available in white
by|Aug 2, 2020

Answer This Question
A: I didn't see an option for white but it would be easy enough to paint whatever color you want. The only parts visible are the clamps that hold onto the uprights. You might try it without paint first since to see how it looks. The top can be taken off easily if you do find you need to paint the arms.

A: Dz, Unfortunately, we have not tested the kit with those railings, and for that reason are not able to give you an answer that we can stand behind.

A: If you are talking about the minimum width between upright thin railings, it looks like about 1 1/2". Maximum appears to be about 6". You basically put it through, rotate the supports to a horizontal position and tighten up the knob.

Q:Can you use this on wooden pickets instead of metal pickets?
by|Jul 4, 2020

Answer This Question
A: Jenny, it should work fine as long as you have a flat top for the table to rest on. The support brackets on the bottom just pinch whatever is used for the uprights, in your case wood pickets.
