A: There is really only one difference between a plug in and a hard wired option. U need to buy a two pin plug ( male) that costs about $2.28 in home Depot. Once u screw in the plug to the two wires which are black and white in color, u can plug the same in an outlet socket. The plug also has markings which says where the white wire goes and where the black wire goes. If your socket is far away , than u need to buy additional black and white 12 gauge electric cable and add the male plug at one end and two 12 gauge twister connectors at the other end and you are good to go. Hope this helps.

A: The fan does not come with a wall outlet option, and is not designed to be used in a situation other than hard wiring.
by|Feb 17, 2022
A: No, hard wired only.

A: I cannot see how this could have an option to plug it into a receptacle. That said I am sure you cold wire a plug it just would be awkward as the fan is designed for a solid mounting and hard wiring. You could build a stand. I guess anything is possible if you want to spend some time building.
