A: Hi Mac, Thank you for your question the 1.5 GPM at 60 PSI is the maximum when the handle is in the full open position. The lower the PSI and the lower the handle would decrease the flow of water.

Q:Concerning the pop up handle that closes the drain- how far does it stick up and out when the drain is closed? Our backsplash is pretty close to where the faucet will go and we want to make sure we will be able to fully close the drain.

A: Hi AT200,
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 597LF-MPU has a lift rod that will extend 1 3/8" when your pop-up assembly is open. When it is closed, the lift rod will extend out 2 1/8" which is why we recommend at least 2 1/2" clearance to the backsplash.
Thanks.

Q:Can you describe how the hot/cold and pressure works ? Is there a pressure adjustment or just hot/cold and one pressure ?

Answer This Question
A: Hi Loo,
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 597LF-MPU does not have a pressure adjustment other than the hot and cold handle. It depends on the pressure coming into your house to determine the pressure that is coming out of your faucet.
Thanks.

A: Hi Charlie,
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 597LF-PNMPU flows at 1.5 gpm and can only be used on a lavatory sink. It does not have enough water output to be used as a tub faucet.
Thanks.

Q:I just bought the larger Cassidy pull-out stainless steel kitchen faucet and now need a matching one for the little sink in the kitchen island. This little sink would not need a plug for the drain (whatever they are called) as the drain is like a kitchen sink drain. Which model would work? Would the bathroom faucet work?

A: Hi Kitt,
Thank you for your question. Instead of using the Delta Faucet model # 597LF-MPU bathroom faucet for your wet bar sink, we would recommend model 9997-DST. It is the same as the kitchen version but it is smaller and will usually work as a bar prep faucet.
Thanks.

Q:I am not sure if this faucet will work with my new sink.

A: No. I had to switch to a smaller copper under mount sink without an overflow. The drain with this faucet would not work. I had to order a separate drain that was listed with the smaller sink.

A: Hi Cbinbr,
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 597LF-RBMPU contains a pop-up assembly that is recommended to be used for sinks with overflow holes. We do offer push-pop drain assemblies that do not have overflow holes. We have model 72172-RB and 72174-RB. We also offer a grid strainer without overflow holes with model RP47648RB.
Thanks.
