A: Certainly but you need to mark the sides of the container with a permanent marker if you plan on keeping diesel in it. You should never mix fuels and incorrect markings on the container could lead to serious problems. Know what is in the can of fuel you are using. Mark it and keep it marked.

A: Diesel fuel cans are yellow so you can distinguish the different types of fuel. You can store diesel fuel in a gas container but be sure to label it so there is no mistake made. Diesel fuel should never be used in a gas engine.

Q:Is this the same as a No-Spill 2.5 gallon gas can? It looks like they are made by the same company, but the Easy Can is priced about $4 cheaper.

A: We use it everyday. Yard service .We have 30 to 40 homes per day .We use the gas cans to pour gas into string trimmers, mowers, blowers and hedgers. It is the spout that makes it easy to pour .

A: yes it is the same can. I think the spout itself is a little different, but the function is the same. At the time of my purchase, I would have preferred the No-spill brand and spout but only the Easy Can was available. I think they are both made by the same company.
