A:  I don't know if they are interchangeable, but from a quick search online, the CR-2430 is a lot cheaper than the CR-2450 was so you might as well get the correct battery.

A:  Yes, they can be interchanged. They are both 3 volt lithium ion coin batteries of the same dimensions.

A:  They did not work for my use. Had to return the CR2450

A:  CR2430 batteries are 24 mm in diameter and 3.0 mm tall. CR 2450 are 24 mm in diameter and 5.0 mm tall. If the battery compartment has enough play, they could be but technically they are different batteries.

A:  No, they are not directly compatible. You might be able to forcibly make it fit but it would not be advisable.

A:  No. These are not interchangable batteries. The 2430 battery is slightly smaller than the 2450. The 2430 is 3mm in height where the 2450 is 5mm. The 2450 has a slightly higher capacity than the 2430. Energizer does sell a 2430. I do not see it listed on the Home Depot site, but you might be able to ask your local store if they can get one.

A:  Now the site doesn't like my comments in this box. I'm responding because I have received 4 emails to comment on the batteries I bought, and it is irritating. I would block Home Depot, but IF I order something again I won't receive the shipping emails.

A:  The 2450 battery is physically larger than the 2032 battery. We would not recommend using a 2450 battery in a device designed for a 2032 battery due to the potential for physical damage to the device by installing a larger battery.

A:  These are similar to the CR2032, but not for your device. The CR3032 is 30mm wide by 3.2 mm high. The 2450 is 24.5 mm wide by 5mm thick. You would need to find a 2032 for the correct size and capacity for your device.
