      A:  Hello Chris, Thank you for your good question! The model that list on the Home Depot website doesn't tell the depth of the camera head. We have another model locator tells you the depth. Forbest products have pipe inspection camera with built-in 512Hz sonde transmitter, when it goes in the pipe, it send out 512Hz signal, this locator will find and pick up the signal, then you will know where is your camera head located.               A:  This locator is used to locate the 512HZ sonde signals sent from the camera system with built in 512HZ sonde in the pipe. It has no feature of making the difference of the pipe size. Thank you!

                A:  This is a 512HZ locator that can pickup 512HZ sonde transmitter signals. Please make sure your camera system has the feature of 512HZ sonde that can send out the signals, which will be picked up by FB-R2012.

                  Q:I work at a golf course, I was curious if this could be used to find PVC from 1in to more, how deep can it detect, and does it need any other tool like a tracer in the pipe to work or does it just detect the noise from the water in the pipe? Is there a video online to see how this product works? Thanks!

                  A:  This locator can locate the items as deep as 15FT. It works with the PVC. Please make sure that you have a camera system that comes with 512HZ sonde that will send out signals, which will be picked up by FB-R2012. If you just need to trace the pipe line, you need a line locator.
