A: Yes - it's the only one I've found so far that WILL go down the kitchen sink. Not quite sure it's flexible enough (or control wise) to clean sidewalls, yet, can catch gunk wherever it does happen to land and around it.
A: I liked the look of the product but it didn't work for me. According to the product description and the company videos, this product is for removing hair clogs in P traps. Unless you wash yours or your dog's hair in this sink there will not be anything to remove. Might be time to call Mr. Rooter.
A: I use this between chemical treatments (Mr. Plumber etc.) and taking the trap apart. It is especially good in bathroom sinks and does capture hair quite well. I have not had the need to use it in the kitchen but it should loosen up any minor clogs. I will take all traps apart to clean them at least twice a year especially the master bath room sinks. I recently did a test on chemical cleaners and found that they do a pretty good job if you follow the directions. After using Mr. Plumber, I took the trap apart to find that it was cleaner than I expected.
A: yes, it fits go for it.
A: Probably not. It looks like it’s intended to be use on hair clogs in bathroom sinks and tubs. It’s bigger than most sink strainer holes. A drain cleaner containing sodium hydroxide is probably a better bet for thoroughly cleaning the inside of the drain pipe.
A: It might work. The issue is that it's really small diameter brush, so it probably won't do much
A: It's meant for hair in a drain/p trap. Not sure what's clogging your disposal or where the clog is. If it is similar to hair in a shower drain then yes. If the clog is tougher than hair or in the disposal unit itself I would get something else.
A: This is the best hair removal tool ever! We always keep an extra one at home! It's definitely the holy grail of hair/drain cleaning.
A: This tool is really only for hair clogs. I dont think you should have a problem with hair in your garbage disposal.
A: No.
A: Not sure. It's a brush that scrapes sides of pipe, so I would think not

A: No
A: Not to my knowledge. Be sure the disposal is unplugged, then pour a half cup of baking soda into the disposal and also add a half cup of vinegar. Run water into the disposal for a few minutes and this will unclog the blades. If you still have a problem, again turn off the disposal and use a strong stick to turn the blades, being careful not to damage the disposal. Plug the disposal in and you're all set.
A: Not for garbage disposals.
A: Yes but after every use you have to pull out the hair out and clean up the soap scum off with hot water. It takes time but once clean let dry before putting back into tool box. It's like Velcro on a stick so of not clean the hair and stuff will not stick to it.
A: Yes! I have re used it a few times but its not really meant for continuous use. I throw mine out after using it a couple of times. Tiny hairs get stuck to it and its hard to clean
A: The handle is but the wand ends are single use.
A: Yes, generally it is reusable. However, some caveats... Being made of plastic, and the bristles of nylon, if you break either, somehow, using it, then obviously you're going to toss it. The other thing is - if you manage to clear the drain, while not breaking the tool or the tool's bristles, you have to clean the yucky stuff out of the bristles. They you can reuse it. Works for me, the old cheapskate!
A: Not really. The tip grabs all the gunk and so you throw that part away. One time it only grabbed a little gunk, and I did pull that off and use it again, but generally you would not want to do that. It works great ... no bad effect on pipes or bad fumes. And it does not cost that much.
A: I think it was 12-16"
A: I'd guess around 20 inches. We LOVE this item, it works GREAT! Highly recommended!
A: The wand length is exactly 18 inches.
A: It's about 18-20 inches long. It is a little miracle for hair clogs but not very successful with my sink gunk.
A: The section that goes down the drain is 18" and the handle is 6" (24" total length). More than enough to reach any pea-trap in standard plumbing applications. If your issue is beyond the trap you need a plumber anyway. Hope this helps.
A: The drain weasel really doesn't have a snake. The shaft is about 2.5 feet. This product works amazing.
A: 2 1/2 feet
A: As the description says “18 very short only great for vanity with stopper on and to catch hairs up to trap without taking it apart. I tried it on bathtubs but not long enough, the end is like Velcro that catches hair there are extensions but the couples doing squeeze down by stopper without removing it. For bathtub it faster and easier to snake out from over drain.
A: The wand measures 18 inches long and the assembled height is 24 inches.
A: 17 inches
A: I purchased a package of three. They use up quickly so buy two packages.
A: 2 wands that are disposable (can be cleaned up to use again but annoying to clean so we tossed it after use)
A: There are two extensions but you can only use one at a time.
A: 2 refill wands and 1 handle.
A: Original package comes with 1 handle and 2 wands. Refill packages come with 3 wands.
A: 2
A: It comes w 2 Wands and no you can’t clean and reuse it’s very disgusting and not meant to be reused but easy to use
A: Yes it is so (to your second question). But I wouldn’t clean the used wand for re-use because it’s pretty gross...
A: You are correct
A: I think you are correct. I'm not certain because I don't still have the original packaging, and I bought extra wands when I ordered the basic unit. As for cleaning the wand, when you use it, it pulls out a lot of gunk, especially hair, which gets wrapped around the brush-like "teeth" of it. You can clean it well enough to re-insert the wand a few times as you're working on the drain, but you can't really completely clean the wand. Since I don't have to do it very often, I have chosen to discard used wands, but you could probably wrap it in a plastic bag and use it another time. I will say this: IT WORKS! It's quick and easy to use and I can do it myself easily. Before this, it was always such a chore to clean a clogged drain. I hated using harsh chemicals on our brass-trimmed drains. My husband would dismantle the drain from underneath, so cabinet had to get emptied, and it was altogether a BIG DEAL!
A: I suppose it would, but if you have a clog in an air gap, other things need to be looked at, like rinsing dishes before putting them in the dishwasher.
A: Yes.
A: I tried it on the air gap and didn't get anything (works great on drains). I'm assuming cuz it may be more a food clog, than a hair clog from the dishwasher. Still working on air gap.
A: It might, it's a cheap item. Worth a try.
A: Would.probably be more appropriate use than as a sink drain cleaner. Very short, brittle not flexible.
A: Poor quality and product did not work.
A: This product is mainly used for hair clogs.
A: Yes
A: Yes! But needs to be inserted to the air gap line through the Garbage Disposal. I would be happy to help you out via Video chat. 6ya.com/a_a8dd01f2083f8b61 Check it out!
A: i think it would be useful for that but hold on to it real good.
A: I imagine so although i have not used it for the kitchen.
A: Maybe. I think is t is more bathroom sink ( haiir) clogs
A: Flexisnake work in kitchen sink
A: I have not used it on a kitchen sink as of yet. It never hurts to try.
A: Yes, I think it will work on a kitchen sink just fine. It worked FANTASTIC on the bathroom sinks and even on the tubs that have the really awkward drains.
A: Not for toilets. Drains only
A: This might unclog a toilet.
A: no, the wand is way too tiny for that. But its super effective on pulling hair out of drains.
A: Nope
A: I would think it's too small in diameter and length to do much good on a toilet.
A: Yes
A: Yes. If the drain cover holes are small, the cover will need to be removed.
A: Yes
A: Yes, that was the reason I purchased it. I would also recommend getting the refill kits at the same time. You are going to want to do all the drains when you find out how easy it is.
A: Absolutely. That's what I bought mine for and was very pleased with my results. You might need the double pack if you have a big clog.
A: Possibly
A: Absolutely. Pull the drain stopper and the strainer before use.
A: yes
A: Yes you can go thru the drain or the over flow. But find it better used thru the drain.
A: Definitely works on tubs - without removing the stopper I cleared a magnificent hair ball. drain works like new again. will be the only thing I use in the future.
A: I doubt this will be able to make a 90 degree turn but if it can just touch the blockage and you can get a couple cranks on the handle, it really bites. It barely had a huge chunk of hair blocking my pipe, but it pulled it up far enough that when the piece on the bottom couldn't hold on to the hair and pulled off, I was able to pull the rest out with a pair of pliers. Worth the try.
A: It should work fine. Spin it as you push through the elbow. 3/4 might be a bit small for a regular snake. This should do fine.
A: yes but not more than 1 turn any more than that would be to difficult. if trying to clear a 3/4 line may be easier to use air pressure.
A: The drain cleaner is a flexible wand that is able to bend without breaking. Check the dimensions of the product to determine if it will be long enough for what you need to do.
A: The plastic handle is pretty flexible, but I'd still worry that it would snap and cause a bigger problem.
