A: Yes. The material cuts quite easily, actually. I used a utility knife and a straight edge for a guide. I cut mine down the middle. I did slip up a wee bit and highly recommend taking your time with the cut. This really is nice stuff!

A: It's like a vinyl coating over a thin foam layer. There is a pattern in the coating. So it shouldn't be slippery. I haven't had a problem.

A: Hi JT, Thank you for your interest in G-Floor GrowFloor White Vinyl Flooring. The flooring should be placed on a smooth, solid subfloor. It will not crack when stepped on or rolling rolling heavy equipment on it. The surface itself is not slippery, however, any surface can become slippery when wet.

A: I have mine covering the walkway in my greenhouse and it is holding up quite well. I put the embossed side up and have not noticed it being overly slick even when wet. This is really neat stuff!

A: Hi Ann, Thank you for your interest in G-Floor GrowFloor. GrowFloor is .075" thick and would require a smooth surface to adhere to with an aggressive adhesive that will hold the vinyl in a vertical application. Using GrowFloor as a wall covering has not been tested and would not be covered under the warranty.
