A:  Yes, this unit used the WR30X10012 which was replaced by part # WR30X10093. The IM6D is the replacement for that. It comes with an assortment of fill tubes that will allow it to be added as a field replacement for units that did not have an ice maker installed and the electrical plug should match the refrigerator’s socket.

A:  Yes, I purchased this kit for the exact same model refrigerator as yours. It works great.

A:  I cannot give you an answer with 100% certainty that it will fit your application as GE has modified the plug over the years. I was able to make mine work in an 18 year old model by modifying the plug. The kit has several available fill tubes for you to choose from. See if you can blow up the picture of the plug and see if it will match your unit. If so, it should work. They perform quite well. My unit called for an IM-2 ice maker and I used the IM-6 series successfully.
