A: Stain123, The Granite Gold Daily Cleaner can be used on quartz counters. This is directly from the product overview: -Use on granite, marble, travertine and all other natural-stone and quartz surfaces. Here are a few tricks you can use to remove water spots from quartz: Use baking soda to help remove water stains. Mix the baking soda and water to make a paste. Pour a bit of this home-made cleaner on the stain, then rub it in with a soft kitchen sponge with circular motions. Use a microfiber cloth to wipe off the baking soda and use a microfiber cloth when using the granite gold cleaner. You can also try the plastic wrap trick if the baking soda alone does not work. Pour a bit of the baking soda water mixture on the stain. Cover it with a plastic wrap and let it sit for a few hours. This will create the heat that will pull out the stain out of your quartz countertop. Again use a microfiber cloth to wipe away the baking soda and when using the granite gold daily cleaner. Quartz does not need waxed or sealed and don’t use bleach or harsh cleaning products on the counter. There are articles online you can view that will tell you how to maintain your quartz countertop. These are a few tricks that have helped me remove and or lighten water stains. I use the granite gold daily cleaner a lot to help maintain the quartz countertops. Hope this helps. Good luck!
A: Yes, it can be used to clean a granite composite kitchen sink. The Stone Care Experts at Granite Gold®
A: PJ, You can typically use mild dish soap and warm water to clean a granite composite sink. For tougher stains, sprinkle baking soda into the sink, add vinegar, and gently scrub with a non-abrasive sponge. There are YouTube videos on how to clean granite composite sinks as well. A: Yes, this will work great for your sink. My wife uses it to clean all the kitchen surfaces, not just the granite. It is a low smell, non eye watering formulation that works great.
A: I opened the instructions for this cleaner off the Home Depot website and it states the following: On what types of surfaces can Granite Gold be used? A: Yes, but I would allow at least and hour after use to allow dissipation before you use sealant.
A: I don't see why not. It's a cleaner and it works good. I use it on granite countertop though.
A: Yes, it can be used prior to sealing. Wait 20 minutes or dry to the touch before applying the sealer. The Stone Care Experts at Granite Gold®
A: Yes, you can use this cleaner to clean counters then they also have sealer too that can be used. Both work extremely well.
A: Yes, it works great. Just let it dry after cleaning before you seal.
A: yes
A: Yes, this is safe for quartz. My wife used up our bottle cleaning the outside of the fridge, oven, etc in addition to the granite. Nice product. Doesn't smell awful or make your eyes water, but works very well.
A: Yes, Granite Gold Daily Cleaner® is safe for use on any natural stone surface, including granite, marble, limestone, travertine, onyx and slate, as well as use on manufactured stone surfaces such as quartz, ceramic tile, porcelain tile, concrete, Corian, Silestone, Terrazzo and Formica.
A: Only on granite.
A: Yes this cleaner is safe to use on Granite, Marble, Travertine, Quartz, Natural Stone Countertops, and your tile or stone Floors. The spray is non-acidic and contains no phosphates or ammonia so it will not harm your quartz like stone.
A: Dark spots are typically an indication of a liquid substance penetrating the surface, and very likely to be a stain. We can help. Contact us 1-800-475-7866.
A: This is a gentle "daily cleaner" without harsh chemicals, strong solvents or phosphates. My wife likes it because it doesn't smell and she cleaned the whole kitchen with it the first use. It did remove scum around our sink on the granite countertop. Granite is porous and needs to be sealed. The first thing I did when moving into our newly built house was to seal all the granite countertops and tile grout lines throughout the house. Are the dark spots under a soap dispenser? Even with the sealed granite I get dark spots under the soap dispensers in my master bath with the medium color granite. I've cleaned and moved the dispenser and the dark spot fades. This Granite Gold product is a good choice to clean up the darkened blotch area every day until it slowly fades away.
A: I don’t think so. There is a pinkish stain on my quartz countertop and the product did not remove that. This product is very mild.
A: This is a daily-use cleaner, so it will not remove the really heavy dirt. It will put a shine on the granite for sure.
A: Yes. After soaking a heavy duty sponge with Granite Gold; that did the trick. I let it sit for half to one hour before finally removing the stain using a Paper towel. Daily cleaning is highly recommended.
A: First, soak the surface with the cleaner; then, using a new single-edge razor blade, gently scrape/shave from the surface of the stone. You can also use Granite Gold Daily Polish® to prevent the buildup. The Stone Care Experts at Granite Gold®
A: It is formulated for deep cleaning, not to kill germs. The CDC as well as numerous state departments of public health advise a two-step process: clean first with soap/detergent; then disinfect. The CDC states cleaning is “the removal of germs, dirt, and impurities from surfaces. Cleaning does not kill germs, but by removing them, it lowers their numbers and the risk of spreading infection.” Disinfecting, according to the agency, does not necessarily clean dirty surfaces or remove germs, but by killing germs on a surface after cleaning, it can further lower the risk of spreading infection. Cleaning with Granite Gold® will help you accomplishing the first step: removing germs, dirt and impurities from the surfaces. To disinfect stone countertops, here’s what we recommend: mix mild antibacterial dish soap with warm water and apply to the surface. Allow this sit on the surface for 5 minutes. This will ensure proper disinfecting. Once this step is completed, use Granite Gold® cleaners to remove streaks. Meanwhile, coming soon from Granite Gold Inc. is MicroGold®, a new brand to help eliminate bacteria and viruses. Products include a Dual-Action Disinfectant and Antimicrobial, and a All-Purpose Cleaner that also disinfects, and more. You can contact us at 800-475-7866 for information.
A: No I don't believe it does. It does not say anything anywhere on it about that. Just a ph balanced daily cleaner.
A: Doubtful. There is no indication on the bottle that it kills germs. According to the bottle, "Deep cleans graite, maarble ad all other natural-stone ad quartz surfaces."
A: There is no germ killing claim anywhere on the spray bottle. This product is only used to clean and protect your stone products.
A: Thats a great question! The label doesn't say. It just states that its safe on food prep surfaces, non-toxic, non-acidic, ph balanced, biodegradable, no phosphates, no ammonia. It has no where on labeling that it is anti- bacterial. Therefore if they can't state that it is, I'd assume it isn't. However I used a anti-bacterial cleaner before i used it with Dawn Anti-bacterial soap to wipe down before use.
A: No, this does not kill bacteria.

A: If it is deep in your granite then no it won’t. You would need a paste to do that. This is for everyday use to prevent those things. It removes the daily grim.
A: It works great on cooking grease on our counters.
A: Yes, it can remove grease of countertops
A: Keeping your stone sealed will help make cleanup easier and protect against stains and etches. The Stone Care Experts at Granite Gold®
A: I wouldn't use this as my primary grease remover. Better as a finishing product after you remove the bad stuff with a grease cutting product.
