Q:Can I put it directly on concret surface? Do I need to put any linner inside to prevent the soil from escaping from the bottom? Thanks!

Answer This Question
A: You can put it directly on concrete, but if you do, it needs a liner to keep the soil in place. Water drains out through it, and the soil will get out the same way. The liner needs to be porous to let water out, so a plastic tarp won't do it, you need landscape fabric for that.

A: The garden bed can be placed on any flat level surface. A liner can help prevent soil run off.

A: It can be placed on a concrete surface. No liner is needed. My concern about the concrete would be the heat retained by the concrete during the summer.

A: I installed mine on top of granite rock with some soil. I did line them to prevent the soil from washing away from the bottom and that is what I advise.

A: No. Pollination is not achieved thru the root system, I do believe.
by|Mar 18, 2021
A: The middle divider should not eliminate cross pollination. Insects will be able to go over the barrier and the plants should be able to grow over the middle divider.
