Q:what watt led bulbs does it use

Answer This Question
A: The information on the package is only an average minimum. Usable wattage can vary widely, based on your system. We used a Russian electrician and he installed a dual 3-ring system that allows us to use 6 washers and dryers at the same time (expensive but gets the laundry done quick.) So we use 4 400-watt bulbs in the Hampton Bay Tavish vanity light in our bathroom. We use mercury vapor bulbs on the outsides and sandwiched between them are 2 heat lamps. The room gets real toasty in the winter and it's bright enough that you can easily read in the light from the bathroom window 50 yards away from the house at night. However, I would suggest using a commercial fan system and safety glass in your shower door because the bulbs tend to explode if there is too much steam in the room.

Q:What holds the globe onto the fixture? And also why do most of your ratings start at 2013, 2014, and not 2020 or 2019?Did you even make this fixture back in 2012?

Answer This Question
A: The light bulb holds the glass shade in place, very securely. The shade has a lip that rests against the socket, and when the bulb is screwed in the shade is stabilized.

A: This fixture comes with installation instructions.
by|Apr 8, 2020
A: There is a nut that holds globe to fixture. For me the ratings started from 2020 and I purchased these back in 2011. I'm purchasing them again for another project
by|Aug 23, 2020
A: small screws hold the globe's on the fixture. We started remodeling our last house 2013/2014, we have since sold that house.
by|Apr 10, 2020
A: Have no idea why rating start and when, but there is a thread with a locknut that holds Globe to fixture.
Goes in before light bulbs.
by|Apr 9, 2020
A: Screws apply pressure to hold them in. And to my knowledge, yes, it's been made for a while. We bought ours 4 to 5 years ago.
