A: Dear Elena, The back of the door is grey melamine. The mirror is mounted to it. Since this is designed for a closet opening, you will never see it once it is installed.

A: Dear Alu, This is a 30" bifold designed to fit into a 30" opening. It is made up of 2-15" panels. You will need 2 of these if you need it to fill a 60" opening or better yet we sell a 60" door that will have a one-piece track and both doors all in one kit. Thanks.

Q:I am expanding my current 24" wide closet door opening to making it 48 inches rough opening. Can I buy a bi-fold where each panel is 24" wide to open only on one side instead four 11" wide panels that open on both right and left? If yes, will it be too heavy for the rollers? Thanks.

A: Just make sure you are referring to your "finished opening" The size of our doors refers to the doors that would fit into a finished opening, which means jambs and moulding or drywall already installed in the opening.Than you.

A: No, it doesn't have a wooden saddle at the bottom. It has a metal saddle at the top. The rough opening should be about 80 inches.

A: It does include the wood saddle but I did not use it. I have wood flooring and did not want a piece of wood to separate the closet and bedroom for cleaning and esthetics. My contractor called the manufacturer and was told to lower the 80" opening by 3/4" (thickness of saddle) if not using the saddle.

A: Bill, Our doors fit into a "finished opening" so the finished opening required her is 47" x 80"

A: For this kind of door it's "finished opening" not rough opening. Bi-Fold is for a 47 in. wide finished opening and height is adjustable from 79-1/4 in. x 80-1/2 in.

A: You could most likely get away with 47-13/16" x 79-1/2 If you know your opening is perfectly square as you will have no room for adjustability if anything is out-of-square or settled over time in your home. 48" x 80" is ideal. Thank you

A: The minimum finished opening is 79 1/2 (H) to 80 1/2" and 48 to 48 3/8"(W)
