A: It is considered to be a "universal" replacement, so it should.
A: Hello! This part is recommended to be used with InSinkErator® disposers.
A: I think it is a pretty generic size...just buy it and try it...:-)
A: Hi Anselmo! We'd like to learn more about your concern. Please contact us at insinkeratorfeedback@emerson.com and we'd be happy to assist.
A: No
A: Since there are so so many disposals..... it is really hard to find someone who can tell you this.... it is generic sized...it fit mine no problem....just slip it on top of ??. Holds great, looks great ....try it..... if not return it....:-)
A: Your unit is using the Standard Mounting Gasket Model: SMG-00.
A: Hi Mary! For best results, we recommend you use InSinkErator parts and accessories with InSinkErator units. To better answer your question, please contact Kenmore at 888-536-6673.
A: It is a standard size so it should fit.
A: Yes, it is a universal fit kit and should fit most all disposals.
A: It fits into a normal sink "ring".... just stick it in.... I put it over my old gasket and it holds/fits perfect. I did not install it inside the disposal or take anything apart....
A: yes
A: If you go back on read other posting of my answer, you will see that the gasket kit is a normal sink hole size... my slipped right over my old gasket and clings nicely to the inside of my sink/the old gasket/the Badger garbage disposal. I did not uninstall my disposal...just slipped it right in from the open top hole. Fits like a dream.... why don't you just try it :-)
A: Rich..... I doubt most people, including me would be able to answer your question because we don't know what ss 125 means since you didn't even give us a name to who made the garbage disposal. As I mentioned in previous answers....it is a cheap product...it fit perfectly into my "drain" area on top of my old gasket. I suspect it will fit on most/all sink drains.... in the unlikely event it does not, you can return it.
A: yes, i used it with an SS125. it was an easy installation taking less than 15 minutes
A: I was able to put this new one OVER the old one! You can't see the old one, and the new one just stayed in place! Took 1 second and has been there for months now! I assume my old on is keeping it in place, but not sure...all I know is this gasket is wonderful! I bought it just to try it and it fit like a glove....I suspect that most sink holes/disposals are the same size! Give it a try...it it doesn't work, return it.

A: Hi, this is Jerica from InSinkErator® Customer Service. If you currently have a standard InSinkErator household disposer or previous deluxe model, the unit has to be uninstalled before replacing its baffle or mounting gasket. To accurately check how to replace your disposer’s baffle, please email us the serial number of your disposer and someone will get back to you immediately. You may send the details to insinkeratorfeedback@emerson.com. Thank you.
A: Step 1: get a garbage disposal removal tool. Looks similar to an allen wrench, but rather than having a 45 degree angle, it is at about a 30 degree angle. It actually has this on both ends. This also can be used to help unjam your disposal if when you turn it on, it just hums by putting it into the base and spinning by hand each direction until it spins freely. If you do not have one, an allen wrench may work. Step 2: detach the garbage disposal from your drain line. This may be as easy as removing the U Trap. Or you may need to remove the screws that goes into the disposal if the U Trap connects both sides of the sink drain. Step 3: In the upper part of the disposal, there are little loops around the side (three of them). These will be in the area of that metal ring. Put your garbage disposal removal tool in there and rotate this section counter-clockwise (so move the loop toward one of the other loops). This will loosen the disposal, and once you get it far enough, the disposal will drop out - catch it. Step 4: Use a flat screw driver to pry the existing rubber gasket off. Just go around the base of it and pry up until you can get it off. Step 5: put the new rubber gasket in place - just push it on. Step 6: Put the disposal in place - aligning the drain line as needed. Use the loop and your disposal removal tool to twist this back into place. Make certain that all three sides catch. Step 7: Reconnect your plumbing the same way you connected it (if it is not quite aligning, you should be able to twist the disposal without using the tool - it moves a bit). Step 8 (and most important): Test for leaks. I usually turn the water on for about a minute on each side and look for wetness on the pipe (dry the pipe off first with a paper towel). If a leak, fix it. If no, fill up both sides of the sink close to the top, open up both sides of the sink so they can both drain, Let the water run above the disposal, and turn on the disposal. Wait until the side with the disposal empties, turn off the disposal, turn off the water, and let it drain the rest of the way. Then look for wetness below again.
A: Thanks for the pic. The ring can only be supported by the rubber so it must pry out. I would get a large flat -blade screwdriver and leverage it across the opening and pry the metal ring out. The new rubber gasket simply snaps over the top of the garbage disposal.
A: No, it is not compatible.
A: It fits Badger, Insinkerator and Sears disposers. All made by Insinkerator
