              Answer This Question

A:  Yes as long as the amp draw of the lamp is less than 20 amps

              by|Nov 25, 2019

A:  Being a mechanical timer and switch, it can be used with any load that requires 20 amps or less. A heat lamp is usually 100 watt, or even 200 watts, with these being less than 2 amps. Divide watts by voltage, to get a rough idea of the amps, close enough.

                by|Mar 31, 2020

A:  Heat lamps are something like 400 watts, right? I'm sure the rating on this switch is over that wattage.

                    Answer This Question

A:  I would say NO! This is rated 110V 15 amp. An electric stove is 220V and at least 40 amps.

A:  I doubt this would be appropriate as it is rated for 120v 20 amps and mounts where a regular single pole switch would normally go.
