A:  No I highly doubt it. I believe a 345 is an older 54 " deck model. These only fit the 48 " d-100 series.

A:  I just bought a. Z355e( 2023) and having same issue . I noticed in a lot of the videos the mowers have an outer lip of metal which I could see the boot would fit in easily. But my side discharge does not have that. It?s just open on the bottom .

A:  First I would make sure you purchased the correct cover for the 48” deck, most common mistake is getting the 42” deck cover. Second I could not get mine to fit right either, had to have the JD dealer put it on for me when I had it in for an oil change. They did not put it on as the instructions showed it to go on, appears they don’t really put time in making the deck to fit a mulch cover and instructions are incorrect.

A:  No, there is another model and that is on the shelf at HD. This one was not stocked at my local stores and I had to order, took 2 day and picked it up at local store.

A:  No, this will not work on a Z346M 42" cut.

A:  The cover helps disburse the clipping more evenly as opposed to blowing them out the side. This looks better in the yard and also reduces dust and flying grass clippings, which I find helps my allergies. The cover also promotes the clipping being cut more than one cent helping them settle into the grass better. Other than tall wetter grass, I wouldn’t mow without it
