A:  Hi Jojo, The FC3 uses a rechargeable lithium ion battery. To charge it, you simply plug the included charger into a receptacle (120V), connect to the FC3, and let it charge for about 4 hours to completely recharge an empty battery.

A:  Hi Frank, The FC3 should work great on an epoxied garage floor. The main challenge you might run into would be the level of dirt found on most garage floors. The FC3 is designed for use on indoor flooring surfaces, which are normally fairly lightly soiled. If your garage floor has a lot of mud , dirty water residue from rainy days, dirty snow/slush residue in the winter, etc, you may need to use several sets of rollers as they will get soiled pretty quickly and reduce the cleaning efficiency. It will work best if you're cleaning a lightly dirty floor, and not one with a lot of mud/solids.

A:  Hi Will, You can definitely use the FC3 on stairs. How well it will fit will depend on the design of the stairs- The FC3 does a good job of getting into corners when you can run it right along an edge, but if the stair tread isn't vertical, it will keep it out of that corner area all along the base.

A:  Hi there, I'm not sure if you're referring to the seams in between linoleum tiles, or the patterning in the tile itself. If you've got dirt worked down in between seams, the FC3 probably won't help you remove that dirt initially (as those seams can be very narrow and deep, not allowing the brushes to get down in there). It will keep things clean with ongoing cleaning, though, and it will do a great job on the patterning in a surface, or grout in between regular tiles.

A:  Yes it will. It’s great for nooks & crannies 

A:  No it won’t. This item has great battery power and in theory, it’s a great idea but, the solution soaks the rollers by gravity only. The solution just slowly drips onto the rollers and it never seems to get wet enough to really clean efficiently. 

A:  Hi, The FC3 should be great to use on your polished marble. We always recommend testing in an inconspicuous area and double checking with the flooring manufacturer if you have any specific questions about that particular flooring product, but the FC3 uses gentle microfiber rollers and Karcher detergents to clean, which are safe for most surfaces.

A:  Hi there, The charge time for an empty battery is about 4 hours. We do also offer a corded floor cleaner in the FC5 and FC5 Premium.

A:  Yes, the FC3 will do a great job on laminate floors. Always check with the manufacturer of the flooring for water sensitivity, but the FC3 leaves behind less water than a mop, so it should be fine in most cases.

A:  If you're comparing out FC3 Cordless to our FC5 Cordless, the main difference is how each model removes water from the floor. The FC3 uses a friction based mechanism to basically squeegee the wastewater off of the rollers as it cleans. The FC5 uses an actual vacuum to suction the dirty water from the rollers. This allows the FC5 to have better performance with picking up debris, while the FC3 is lighter and more maneuverable as it does not contain the vacuum components and has a smaller battery.
