Q:DO I NEED A CENTER SUPPORT WITH A ADJUSTABLE ROD 138 WIDE? I WANT ONE CURTAIN
THAT WILL SLIDE. WILL THE CENTER SUPPORT PREVENT ME FROM DOING THIS?
by|Jun 26, 2022

Answer This Question
A: I would strongly recommend a center support. 11 1/2 feet (138”) is a long stretch. The center support will be needed to support the weight.

Q:What is the absolute shortest length this rod can be if using all THREE pieces (TWO thick outer rods and the ONE thin inner rod)? (The thin inner rod will be hidden inside the two thick outer rods, so the look is thick the entire length)

1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: It is 100.25 inches without the finials. Each of the two outer rods are 50 1/8 inches long. The 1/8 is tapered, so when the outer rods meet, there is an indentation- it is not flush.
(For other's information, the inner rod is 50 inches.)

Q:Does the rod lock into the bracket or just lie in it?
by|May 23, 2021

Answer This Question
A: Hello and thank you for your inquiry regarding the Kenney Weaver Curtain Rod. The curtain rod lock into the bracket as you must tighten the screw that is located on the bracket under the curtain rod. By tightening the screw this will lock the curtain rod in place not allowing it to slide within the bracket. Please reference hardware image on the product page, there you will see the screw I am referring too.
