A:  No. Koni Brick is not a floor tile or paver. Koni Brick is a manufactured thin brick veneer for wall surfaces only.

        Q:I'm thinking of painting these 1) b/c they seem a little brown/greyish and 2) because they'll be behind our woodstove and will likely collect a BUNCH of dust and be hard to clean? I feel like the ash will get stuck in the pores and it will look dirty?

          Q:Can you install this behind a woodstove without removing the sheetrock first and putting tile backer (to reduce fire risk?). Also, will these hold and reflect the heat (making the room warmer), or does absorbing the heat mean we'll lose more of the heat?

            A:  Koni Brick® is manufactured out of cement/concrete, therefore, a diamond tip blade or masonry tool that can cut through concrete will suffice.
