Please search for a highlighted keyed alike number at the bottom of the box when you purchase the lock at your local Home Depot. A:  I followed the recommendations that appeared when I purchased my door. They automatically appear when you select one to purchase

A:  I took in the old lock that it was replacing!

A:  Not sure what you are asking, but let me tell you what I know as a professional locksmith. Modern doors generally fall into 4 “sizes”. You measure the thickness of the door. It should be either 1-3/8” or 1-3/4”. Then you measure the backset which is the distance from the edge of the door to the center of the hole (which should have a 2-1/8” diameter). This should be either 2-3/8” or 2-3/4”. Just about any entry knob or deadbolt you buy is going to work on either door thickness (or anything in between). So the bigger concern is the backset. Some locks come preset with a fixed backset of either 2-3/8” or 2-3/4”. However just about everything you find at home depot has an adjustable backset that can be used on either. So make sure the holes drilled in the door are 1” (the latch hole) and 2–1/8” (the cylinder hole) then buy a lock with an adjustable backset and you will be fine.

A:  The knob & bolt are simple & good, especially for the price, however, the lock we had before, would lock in the horizontal position, but this one locks with a vertical position, which takes some getting used to. I feel like a horizontal position makes me think it is locked, instead of a vertical position. So if I had known this beforehand, I wouldn’t have bought it.

A:  The Tylo Combo Pack is ANSI/BHMA grade 3 certified.

A:  The set is a grade 3 security.

A:  The hole through the door for the cylinder is 2-1/8”. You need a 1” hole on the edge of the door for the bolt.

A:  The borehole size for the 660 deadbolt is 2-1/8" in diameter.

A:  The 690T 26D CP comes with a Pin & Tumbler keyway cylinder, which would require a professional to re-key the cylinder. The 690T 26D RCAL RCS comes with the SmartKey cylinder, which allows you to re-key your lock in 3 easy steps.

A:  One has a deadbolt and can only be opened with a key where the other, by turning the little knob on the inside doorknob, the door can be opened without a key

A:  Yes, they do. That is what I bought them for. This is my second set and they work great.

A:  Yes it works but not efficient, it still shakes and screws were tightened.

A:  Yes. I replaced a Defiant lockset assembly with this set because I did not have Defiant rekey kit or a key for the locks.

A:  Yes, the locks can be re-keyed to all use the same key.

A:  There is a code on the back of the package. If you find multiple sets with the same code they will all be keyed alike.
