Q:Could this be used behind a wood stove (not to protect the wall-it's in a corner of my glassed in porch) in order to help heat radiate toward the center of the room?

Answer This Question
A: You might get some heat reflected off the metal. It is shiny and reflects light quite well. I used the sheet behind the cook top in my kitchen to protect the wall from cooking splatters. It works well for that, but I haven't noticed any significant reflection of heat. I do think it might look nice behind a wood stove even if it didn't help with the heat.

A: The short answer is yes …. Any material that has a high R value can be used for the purpose of deflecting or reflecting heat . Aluminum has a very high R value and is great for that purpose.

A: I don't think that would work. This isn't copper. It is copper color anodized aluminum.

A: Don't see why not. I used it in a panel in my outside screen door. Only caveat....it's pretty thin so it must be secured well on all sides and it will dent. If you're using it as an inlay I'd get something thicker.
