A:  The power cord is approximately 48” long. I had to wind it up and secured it with electrical tape so it won’t interfere with other items below the sink. 

A:  We purchased garbage disposal and never were asked to get a separate pump. Also we do not use our garbage disposal for any large/bulky refuse which we scrape off to garbage or compost. Our trusted plumber advised us on this. Hope this helps. 

A:  Never heard of that. You should contact the garbage disposal manufacture to get a straight answer and maybe a new plumber.

There is no “pump” required for installing/using the Moen Host Series 3/4 HP Continuous Feed Space Saving Garbage Disposal with Sound Reduction and Universal Mount. A:  I don’t how yours is set up. if you have a disposal already under sink hooked up to the sink drain like mine I didn’t need a pump. I found this a little more work to hook up but, I feel it was worth it. The unit itself is quieter and more efficient. Good Luck!

A:  That depends on your electrical setup. Ideally you have an outlet under the sink pre-wired to a light switch. If not, you will either need to add a switch or buy some other device to connect the disposal to.

A:  Under our kitchen sick is a dedicated electrical outlet that we plug the garbage disposal into  to. Above the countertop, on the wall near the sink is a on/off switch that controls the outlet. Just flip the switch to turn the disposal on and off.
