A:  I just measured and I was shocked that it was 10”. I have had it 3 years and I love it. It seems much deeper as I use it for soaking etc. I shopped a lot before I got it and it suits my needs perfectly. I strongly recommend

A:  Hi there! I just reviewed the specs for this product (in PDF format on the listing page) and the depth is actually stated as 9.5” . I measured our sink just to double check and all the specs on the PDF are correct. Confusion may come in with the measurements of the sink. It is 17” wide and 20” deep, as in the depth from the front edge of the countertop to the backsplash, some folks may refer to that measurements as the depth.

A:  “Basin Depth” actually measures 9 5/8” from top surface of rim flange to top surface of drain basket. The sinks’ rear flange is wider than the other three sides to accommodate the faucet mount. “20in Depth,” refers to distance from front edge of sink flange, to back edge of rear flange. It’s assumed that the faucet is mounted on the wider part that is the rear flange.

A:  Hi Cathy. Prior to purchasing a new drain assembly, I would remove the old one, clean it, and re-install it with new plumber 's putty. If that does not work, contact the manufacturer for possible part locations. Here is the info to contact them: Info@mustee.com ; www.mustee.com. ; 216-267-3100

A:  Go to www.mustee.com and look up the model number and instruction manual for the correct part number. Most of our customers will not have this in stock. Contact us at 216-267-3100 and let us know were you live for local assistance

A:  If you have a picture of the drain and point out where you think the leak might be, I could help you better. However, a quicker method might be to take a picture of the sink, above and below, and take it to The Home Depot Store nearest you. They have electricians working in the electrical department and plumbers working in the plumbing department, and carpenters working in the lumber department. Also, they carry almost any part you could conceive of. I feel confident one of their experienced people could help you pick out the right parts and give hints as to how to install it. If you live out in the boondocks like I do, post the pictures and I will try to help. See the pix of how mine is installed. I am not a licensed plumber, but I do have a knack for making things work. Jim.

A:  The utility sink is not predrilled. You can mount any kind of faucet. Under the back ledge are drilling starter indents for placement of a single, 4" and 8" center faucet. Go to www.mustee.com and view the instruction manual.

Also, underneath in the back 2 corners are molded plastic cylinders that extend down 1.5 “ that are used to secure the tub to the counter top with screws and flange.

A:  We make a under mount laundry sink model # 2218 Utility Sink. Go to www.mustee.com receive more information.

A:  Yes. But it takes some ingenuity. The top flange of the sink is not flat. So, the bottom surface of your countertop will have to be carved out where the fixture platform is higher than the rest of the flange. Prepare fasteners to hold the sink against the bottom of the counter, caulk the sink flange, then tighten the fasteners. Your fixtures will have to be mounted through the counter top AND the flange of the sink if they are placed at the back of the sink (in lieu of either side). But most fixture threaded barrels will carry through the entire thickness and will further secure the sink flange to the counter top. You may want to refine the caulking bead after all is in place and tight.

The INTERIOR dimensions are 22W (left to right) and 20.75 (back to front) will this sink work? I assumed it would because this sink has a lip so I just would not need countertop thinking the lips will act as a edge I just don't want to have to order it not work and return which might be what I have to do because I really want this specific base cabinet but SO HARD finding a sink to fit it... PLEASE HELP!!!

A:  It should just *barely* fit. With a faucet plumbing in mind, your back to front should be fine, but the side to side will be close. On my installed sink I measured right around 22" wide. Can always return if it doesn't fit.

                                                                                      by|Dec 30, 2018

The bowl is still 9.5" deep. We also have an under mount or top mount Model 2218 that is 22" W and 18" (front to back).

                                                                                          by|Dec 31, 2018

A:  Based on the measurements of my sink, and the internal measurements of your base cabinet, it would definitely fit the depth (front to back) but would be a very close fit for the width. My guess is you may get it to fit with a little force, but if there is corner bracing inside the cabinet they would have to be removed. If the back of the cabinet is going to be installed against a wall, the sink should still fit the depth with about 1/2 inch of the lip protruding over the front. However, if either side of the cabinet is installed against a wall the width would not fit because the lip will protrude about 1/2 inch over each side.
