A: This is a wall mount tub. Try Mustee website for all their drop in tubs. I think you need model 10, not 19w.

Answer This Question
A: Turn off the water main, disconnect the plumbing from underneath your tub, then lift your tub up and out. The side panels snap in place. Very easy to do.

A: If your question is replacing a faucet on this unit. Disconnect drain and supply lines. Remove 2 bolts folding side panels to wall. Tub should lift up and off back support. This way you can access old faucet, install new one. Then reset tub, secure 2 bolts in side panel. Hook up faucet to supply lines and reconnect drain.

A: The company makes smaller tubs too that may fit you better. You may look into a mop basin. Anyways, this one is wide and deep. Try their website www.mustee.com

Q:i want to switch out a standing double to a single and need to know what hardware i'll be needing for the mount

Answer This Question
A: The wall model comes with all the hardware. I purchased 3 concrete anchors separately as the hardware supplied by Mustee is cheap. There are videos on youtube to show you how to do it. Very easy just need a hammer drill and basic tools.

A: Hello robert,
The laundry tub is supported by both a wall plate and a stub plate. The wall plate is located just below the top rear edge of the laundry tub. The wall plate also has to be secured into the studs of the wall for proper support. I've included an image from the install manual below. More detailed information can be found in the assembly manual located on the product page. I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Chris

Q:I'm not familiar with structural thermoplastic. Quite frankly, I don't know what it is or how sturdy it is. My main concern is with keeping it clean. Because it's plastic, will it stain, turn yellow or gray, etc., over time? I'm I going to have a hard time keeping this thing clean, i.e., white? Will it scratch easily?

A: IT will be as sturdy as the wall you attach it too. If you are overly concerned the same sink can be ordered with a leg kit. As for keeping clean or staying white. The first unit I had in place for 26 years. It will stain if you leave things in there for extended periods of time (pan left a rust ring) or rings that are meant to stain (like stains and oil base paints). Normal use, if rinsed down you should be fine. Over time mine did slightly discolor (yellow). I just installed a new one and for the cost I don't mind having to change it out every 20 years or so.

A: I have seen used thermoplastic tubs at some thrift stores and they are all stained brown to a degree. Nothing will stay white forever.
