A:  Hello pkchemistry, the actual bi-fold door will be 23-1/2" and you may need to add trim to the opening to make your opening smaller.

A:  Perhaps, but I finished the opening with a 3/4" quarter Round moulding which helped fill the gap and also ran it across the top to mostly hide the track. I did 3 sizes of openings (24, 48 and 96 inches). Actually didn't have to use the moulding on the sides of the 24" but did use it to trim the top to hide the track. I also suggest that instead of using the included little wooden knobs, use a "dummy handle." That's exactly what they're called and work much better and coordinate better with the architectural style of these doors. I matched the dummys with my other interior door handles for a very nice effect.. Good Luck

A:  Hello Bran, you will need a framed opening for the overhead track to be installed on as well as the jamb bracket.

A:  Hello Bran. I don’t think you need to have an actual door frame. As long as you have a frame around the entrance to your linen closet that is at least wide enough to install the track, you should be fine.

A:  It’s been 2 years since I purchased these bifold doors but I am pretty sure they did not come with knobs.

A:  I cut 1/2 off one side (too much) and slightly hit the hollow door. I had to fix it with liquid nails.
