A: You could use the key code to either order new keys from Master Lock, if all were lost, or you could buy more locks to match the current keys.
A: The key number is engraved on the keys.
A: There at Home Depot, where you purchase your locks. They can rekey the lock you purchase there and provide you with extra keys by utilizing their equipment.
A: any competent locksmith or hardware store can make extra keys
A: You can have extra keys made inside Home Depot.
A: Any hardware store will be able to help you.
A: I am trying to remember, been a while since I got these, but this kit did come with a bunch of keys. Think there were 2 keys per lock. Mouse
A: This is actually a 4 pack, and they come with 4 locks, and 2 keys that fit all 4 locks.. So 2 keys to all 4 locks.. The lock pack is AMAZING!! I like that they have 2 keys instead 4 separate keys and that the 2 keys fit all 4 locks,.. They don't stick, easy to lock & unlock, lots of space for key when locked. It's glide is really smooth too when latching lock into place.
A: If you have the packaging, it will tell you a 4 digit code that describes the key. If you go to the store you may be able to find another set of 4 with the same key. If you don't have the packaging, you can try your key in the ones on the shelf. If it works, buy those.
A: the lock key numbers are on the back of each 4 pack, several are the same key number so just buy 2 four packs
A: It’s possible if you order them that way ? But I could find any availability on the HD site
A: I have bought several 4pks but would like to buy another pack with with the same lock combine
A: Yes, I did the same thing. If you look on the package there is a key number. On your next purchase make sure it has the same number and one key will fit them all.
A: Just look on the back of the set of locks for the key code, and look for another set.
A: Just match the key code on the back of the package for multiple sets keyed alike.
A: Hello. It cannot be guaranteed that you will receive the same key with another 4 pack. However, you can contact a local Home Depot and see if they can special order directly from Master Lock the M1KALF to your key code. Call in advance please. Thank you.
A: No, you'd have to buy a whole another set with 2 keys, unfortunately they aren't universal locks & keys.. You can possibly speak to someone instore at Home Depot and since they make keys they might be able to redo the locks for you, but not positive though. Best of luck
A: Yes, but you’ll have to go to the store to match the numbers on the locks.
A: I don’t think there is any reason it wouldn’t be ok. I would have the person hand cut all the keys though. It is more precise.
A: Yes, if you look at the number on your key, you can go back into the home depot store and look at the locks on the self. If the number matches, test your key in the lock. If you cannot see the key code on the key, you may have to look at the back of the package. The other option is to ask if Home Depot can order locks with that key number. Good luck.
A: I matched the key code on the back of 5 packages and I was able to have 15 padlocks with 1 key.
A: I don’t know I was unlocking my gates today and thought it would be great to get a few more of these locks witch could use the same unlocking key as the four I have ! But I don’t think it’s possible because then anyone could buy these locks and open any other locks with the key ? So for security reasons they probably don’t
A: Only if you order them via a locksmith from Master
A: You can, but have to order from a lock shop.
A: Please visit your Home Depot Special Order desk to see if this is an option at your local store.
A: If you wait for new shipment most of the time they are all keyed the same per tray. I bought 5 sets all keyed the same.
A: Jeff, you should go to a locksmith. He/she will be able to get that done for you.
A: Jeff, go to a locksmith. They can get all sets keyed alike.
A: When you call the store, order M1KALF (Quantity 24). This will be boxed keyed alike, and it is in the Master Lock Home Depot catalog.
A: Yes, as I am too looking to main stream my locks Master Lock has tons of option but... 1- when you buy locks retail and look on the self all (most) of the lock are the same key code * Locksmiths can order you any lock from Master and you will get a more random key code option and/or pick a key code in most cases. 2- Retail is a lot cheaper in cost but at the risk of issue One above (Home Depot the cheapest) * Master or Locksmith you will pay $15+ per lock (w/o markup). Summery- Save a little bit of money and buy retail but buy the whole lot when possible of the same key code and ask for maybe a deal at the store as well (some will do it). I think for this item the lot is six packs of four.
A: Yes. 1 key is used for all 4 locks.
