A:  This Backpack is more for hand tools. Like screwdrivers, pliers, side cutters, wrenches etc. There are some compartments for small items. You could probably get them in there but that would be all you would be able to fit in the backpack.

A:  Depends what type of saw. This is an amazing backpack. I bought this for my husband. He is a plumber and carries a lot of tools. He loves this. He has multiple drills and a myriad of hand tools. The backpack opens pretty wide, to match the hard, rectangular bottom. There are a lot of smaller pouches on the inside. If you don't load the inside pouches with a lot of hand tools, you should be good to go.
