A:  The additional battery can be charged while it is in the flashlight or it can be charged with Milwaukee's usb charger and portable power source. The Milwaukee number for the charger is 48-59-2012. It could also be used or charged in any of the other Milwaukee usb flashlights. It is a Milwaukee usb battery. It is exclusive to them and only works in their flashlights and charger. It is NOT interchangeable with standard household batteries. The pictures show the Milwaukee battery compared to a standard AA battery.

A:  To charge you additional battery you can charge it in the flashlight just remove the battery that's already in there

A:  The light itself is the charger, bottom of the light has a twist cap, swap batteries and plug in with a micro USB charger.
