A:  Yes but the angle of the cutting side is so large that I would rather use actual wire cutters.

A:  I bought mine about a month and it is work wwll

A:  I am not surre the size of the eye bolt. I would strongly recommend against putting a larger eye bolt in this tool. When this tool was built, it was built to certian specifications. I would think by adding a larger eye bolt you could overpressure the tool and possibily cause the tool to fail and cause serious injury to who ever was within a certain radius. Just saying sometimes its better to be safe than sorry. Good luck on your decision.

Q:Could this be used on a rounded off bolt to help remove it ?

A:  Absolutely. Having a curved jaw and being easy to adjust for size, it should be able to grip a rounded-off bolt (by either the head or the threads) without any problem. As long as you have the room to swing it around once you've locked it on, it should do the trick.

A:  I have recently used my pair on a nut that was pretty badly stripped and used the torque lock to secure it as tightly as possible. I was able to loosen the nut and remove it. It was practicable round and about 3/4 inch in diameter. Curved jaws work well.

A:  Yes. I was able to use it to remove a rusty bolt with a head snapped off. I was able to use it to grip the other end of the bolt that was sticking out about 1/4 inch. I tightened it down with a screwdriver through the hole in the adjuster to make it extra tight. That was tight enough for a firm grip. The extra tightening might not be needed for most cases but this was very rusty and stubborn. I also treated the bolt with penetrating oil three times before attempting.

A:  Not sure. It doesn't say on the tool, and I no longer have the packaging. It does have a U.S. Patent number stamped on it, though.

A:  I currently have 4 pairs of these. They work well enough but they are not American made. They are at least a little better than the Chinese made Vise Grips I own.

A:  The package says Made in Taiwan.
