Q:Do these get scuffed after time and tires going over them? Do they click when you walk on them, or come undone at edges when driven over?

Answer This Question
A: Hello! These tiles won't stain but scuffs can happen. You can easily clean the tiles with a magic eraser to get the scuffs or mop with simple green or ammonia and water. They can create a clicking sound when first installed but as the tiles expand and contract they will start to "mold" to the floor which dampens the sound. Some people have placed landscape fabric under the tiles to help with noise or rug stopper along the boarder. Tiles should not come undone at edges when driven over, every garage is different. We recommend installing the transition edge pieces to the threshold .

Q:I live in the Pacific NW. Lots of rain and moisture 8 months of the year. I park 2 vehicles in the garage. I am concerned about water/moisture leaking into the seams and getting under the tiles. This could lead to mold and moisture damage. Are the seams water tight and does moisture develop underneath the tile?
by|May 20, 2018
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: The seams are tight but not water tight - however, these tiles are channeled underneath for the purpose of allowing moisture to get out and air to get in. They are mold and mildew resistant! So even in the NW you are safe to have these tiles in your garage.

Q:How to keep wind from blowing tiles up, how do you fasten it down?
by|Mar 17, 2018
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: We do not recommend fastening down the tiles as they will expand and contract a bit in heat and cold. Once you install the floor it becomes one large, interlocked system. The weight of the floor should will keep it down. Also if you have items in your garage; tool box, fridge, bikes and cars those items will help the floor stay in place.
